The National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, has officially announced a crucial window of opportunity for thousands of Absconded Corps Members, graduates who failed to complete their mandatory one, year national service, to regularize their status and finally obtain their discharge certificates. The management has confirmed that the online registration portal for the 2025 Batch ‘C’ Remobilisation Exercise will be open for a limited period in December 2025.
The remobilisation exercise offers a vital second chance for those whose service careers were truncated for various reasons, making it possible for them to ultimately receive the NYSC Discharge Certificate, a document critical for employment and other official engagements in Nigeria.
The Registration Window for the 2025 Batch ‘C’ Remobilisation will be accessible from Tuesday, December 16, 2025, to Tuesday, December 23, 2025. This exercise is specifically targeted at corps members who absconded during any stage of their initial service year, or those who registered for a previous remobilisation batch, such as the 2025 Batch ‘B’ exercise, but failed to report for documentation in their assigned State of Remobilisation, as these individuals are required to register afresh.

The NYSC management has issued a strict directive regarding the refund of monthly allowances received by corps members who abandoned their service midway.
Any absconded corps member who received monthly allowances, commonly known as ‘allowee’, during their initial period of service must process a full refund of that money to the NYSC. This refund must be processed ONLY on the official NYSC dashboard. The scheme explicitly warns against using any external platform or making direct cash payments, emphasizing that the official dashboard is the sole channel for settling these financial obligations. The Remobilisation Process requires eligible individuals to visit the NYSC portal during the specified dates, complete the remobilisation registration process, and then proceed with the required refund through the dashboard if applicable. Successful applicants will then await deployment instructions to their respective states.
