BBNaija Season 10 Finale: Grand Prize Slashed as Four Finalists Exit

BBNaija Season 10 Finale: Grand Prize Slashed as Four Finalists Exit. The Big Brother Naija Season 10 grand finale kicked off on an emotionally charged note on Sunday night, as the field of nine finalists was dramatically reduced. The first four housemates to be evicted were Kaybobo, Isabella, Mensan, and Jason Jae, leaving a fierce Top Five to battle for the coveted grand prize.

The biggest shock of the night, however, came with the revelation of the prize money itself, which was dramatically different from the initial record-breaking figure announced at the season’s start.

The Great Prize Money Reduction

Throughout the season, organizers had advertised the grand prize for the “10/10” edition as a staggering ₦150 million (Naira) package, the largest payout in the show’s history.

However, in a significant and unexpected twist announced just before the live finale, the final prize money was confirmed as ₦80 million.

Big Brother revealed that the fund had been subject to deductions throughout the season, citing a specific “Red Phone Twist” that allowed housemates to make requests that would be automatically subtracted from the total prize pool. Notably, one of the evicted finalists, Kaybobo, had previously made headlines for purchasing his immunity to the finale for ₦10 million from the collective prize money, contributing to the final reduction.

The First Evictions of the Night

The atmosphere in the arena was tense as host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu began the eviction process, removing four popular contestants back-to-back:

  1. Kaybobo was the first finalist to be evicted. Known for his bold personality, culinary skills, and strategic moves—including his costly purchase of immunity—his early exit came as a surprise to many fans who saw him as a strong contender.
  2. Isabella followed as the second housemate to leave the house. The entrepreneur was widely recognized for her emotional intelligence and consistently high performance during the season’s tasks, earning her a reputation as one of the more focused players.
  3. Mensan was the third housemate to be evicted. The lawyer gained admiration throughout the season for his creativity and composure during team challenges.
  4. Jason Jae was announced as the fourth eviction. The creative director, known for his musical talent and laid-back charm, built a solid fanbase for his authentic and genuine personality.

The departure of Kaybobo, Isabella, Mensan, and Jason Jae narrowed the race for the ₦80 million prize, leaving Koyin, Imisi, Kola, Sultana, and Dede as the Top Five finalists to continue the battle for the Season 10 crown. FOR MORE INFORMATION, I RECOMMEND SONGBUX.
