'I Will Never Be Silenced', King Mitchy Cries Out Over Online Bullying

Popular Nigerian philanthropist and content creator Mitchell Mukoro, widely known as King Mitchy, has broken her silence amid an intense wave of digital harassment, highlighting the escalating issue of King Mitchy online bullying.

The controversy erupted following her recent rapid school renovation project in Delta State, which she completed in just six days, a feat that initially drew widespread praise but soon spiraled into a heated public dispute.

The conflict intensified after activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), publicly questioned the authenticity and quality of the renovation, accusing King Mitchy of being a “political tool” to improve the image of the current administration.

Tensions further escalated when VDM alleged that both King Mitchy and Seyi Tinubu, son of the President, threatened his life, claims that both parties have categorically denied.

In emotional social media posts, King Mitchy defended her record, stressing that her philanthropic initiatives date back to 2021, long before her alleged political associations. She emphasized that all her projects have been funded through personal contributions and legitimate donations, insisting she would not allow her reputation to be tarnished by “sensationalist bullies.”

The online feud reached a frightening peak over the weekend when a TikTok live session suggested that King Mitchy was in extreme distress. Adding to the confusion, her management posted on Instagram that she had passed away in an Abuja hospital, only to retract the statement hours later, confirming she was alive but under severe psychological pressure.

Seyi Tinubu also condemned the harassment, clarifying that his involvement was limited to a public donation to her NGO and stating, “Nigeria needs builders, not bullies.”

Despite the ordeal, King Mitchy vowed to remain outspoken about her work and the bullying she faces. She challenged critics to present any evidence of wrongdoing, affirming her integrity remains intact. The Abuja hospital involved denied ever admitting her, intensifying public interest in the chaotic weekend events. Prominent figures, including actress Mary Njoku and actor Ijebu, have called for a de-escalation of the online hostilities that nearly led to a tragic outcome.

As the dust settles, the situation underscores the complex intersection of social media activism and targeted harassment. For King Mitchy, the fight now extends beyond a single school renovation; it is about reclaiming her voice in a digital space that often prioritizes outrage over facts.
