
Highlife Legend Mike Ejeagha Dies at 95 in Abuja, The Nigerian veteran highlife musician and revered folklorist, Mike Ejeagha, affectionately known as “Gentleman Mike Ejeagha,” has passed away at the age of 95. His eldest son, Emma Ejeagha, confirmed that the music icon died on Friday night, June 6th, 2025, at the 32 Garrison Hospital in Enugu, following a prolonged illness, later revealed to be prostate cancer.
